I thought I read somewhere on PH that Sarah Maynard was going to start selling interior parts for our cars starting in early June. I keep checking her website, but it still says "Coming soon…". Does anyone have any updates on this?

P.S. the title of this post was supposed to say " Sarah Maynard Interior Design", but somehow it got mangled and I can't change it.

Can you delete it and start again with the correct spelling ?? Or is that not possible once somebody has replied ......woops !!

So Sarah is setting herself up in direct competition with Tony Hall Unique Gadgets (THUGs). This could be a veritable clash of the Titans smile

I've got the full set of Sarah Maynard controls, they are very nicely made (if a little delicate) but do not match any of the other interior controls! They are also outrageously expensive, and that's coming from me! Had them fitted at Nicholas Mee, they are an authorised seller.

My options now are either to get them polished or the rest of the interior stuff (gear shift surround, ashtray lid, gearknob) anodised to match. She's visiting Nicholas Mee's today in London so they are asking her that question. I may even pop over myself...

Yours really are fantastic quality, I may have a set of stereo knobs and keep my old heater ones as well, especially if you're making the sat nav toggle and the indicator stalks. They're just thin alloy that pop on the end, only fiddly bit is the button. If you bring some silicone sealant to stick 'em back on, you're welcome to pull them off (as it were) and get a proper look.

Why, oh why did I click on that link.
Mind bleach required now. Made the Cygnet look even worse - which is a "skill" in itself. Race collection inspired bumper - my arse!!!

Clicking onto the DB9 limited editions hyperlink was interesting though, as well as the 2011 model with its adaptive damping bks and its bad B&O system .

You could be forgiven for thinking they were turning it into the Virage smile

I've gazed into the crystal (aka plastic) ball and this is what is foretold:-
A Cygnet & Burberry range out shortly (inspiration was from their mascot "cousin Kev" and his lovely plaid undies)
Closely followed by Cygnet and Kappa (no inspiration whatsoever)

Nice

I keep wondering what bits she is going to be producing and what they will look like. Does not seem to hard to put some photos on her web site, a little short on marketing.

She was at Hever Castle yesterday, spent time examining her knobs in detail!
She stated the website isd still under development, and full launch is a couple of weeks ago. Has lots of interesting ideas for the interiors.

Had a long chat to her yesterday, her stuff is lovely quality but the looks are not for everyone. I already have the knob kit and now have an entire set on order so they're being manufctured. When it's all fitted to my interior and we're finished with the dash panels and so on, I'll post pictures.

sara's this wesite up and running, I had a look, but I do not like what it offers, the knobs are aluminum but they look lifeless, gear knob, and the piece of leather to cover the gear knob, find buyer for it ....... I do not want to belittle, but I think that the quality there and she is able to improve what it offers, certain that if
any of you like some of the web??

rofl €48k for that! That's even more ridiculous than the £30k for a standard one.
