I acquired the latest Volvo Navteq DVD for my 06 V8V, which works fine.
However I was under the impression that this would add postcode search functionality, which doesn't seem to be there. Anyone know if this is myth or reality?

Also the Sat Nav's time is 1h behind, but I cannot find any setting in the menu to change the time. Any ideas?

Go into the 'All Cities' page on the Sat Nav.

If you notice in the top right hand corner the word 'Postcode' then you already have postcode finder, albeit probably only to 4 digits. Toggle onto it and away you go.

If not, then ignore everything I've said smile

When I updated the satnav in my 05 DB9 with the 2010 Volvo DVD it added 7 digit postcode search and better lane guidance.

Speed camera notification is a good addition as well.

Hmmm, will check again but can't say I noticed anything new in the menus.
Lane guidance does seem to have improved however. Need to check the scamera warning functionality though!

If it's never been there then your system MAY not be able to have it.

If you've noticed improved lane guidance then you should also have updated speed cameras.

I am running the 2010 disks in my 07 Vantage. We are currently driving back from Monaco and there are no speed camera warnings on the system. But the satnav has done a good job of getting us around.
