Supercar Sunday 2011
Discussion
Hi Folks
I've managed to get my DB9 into this year's Supercar Sunday at Gaydon (exhibiting and a track-run) and was wondering if anyone here has done this previously? I've never "shown" a car before so I'd appreciate any hints/tips/gotchas - not just for the exhibiting bit, but for the day itself.
The literature that came with the passes says, "setting up starts at 8.00am" but beyond "apply parking brake and switch engine off", I'm not sure what else might require setting up... am I expected to provide my own revolving stage with smoke machine and a bikini-clad young lovely to drape over the bonnet, or what?
Oh, and if you're attending the event let me know - it'd be great to meet you lot in real life!

IME
Showing - microfibre cloth and some quick detailer to tidy up the superb job you did which is now a mess having driven it there Maybe a litte A4 print out with car spec and details for the windscreen. Skys the limit on other stuff like stands and glitz rubbish.
Track - decent tyre pressure gauge and small compressor to put a couple of extra psi in each wheel, some oil to check & top up & petrol
