Can a V8 Vantage get up the car deck ramp on the Dover- Dunkirk ferry? Did you have any clearance issues? (I'm talking about the side ramp once you've driven up the main car ramp)

Yes no problem just take it slow
Mine grounded the aero blades in front of the front tyres actually getting off the ferry

Sorry to be a pain but can you just confirm that you were ok at 28 seconds and slightly scraped at 3 minutes 55 seconds into this video?

Like I say no issue getting up or down from the upper decks
Only issue was actually getting off in Dover
The first thing to scrap is the air flow disrupters in front the the front tyres.
They are just vertical plastic blades - I treat them as early warning scrap detectors laugh

ETA I went Norfolk Line (now DFDS) on the upper deck a couple of weeks ago.

I took the N400 to Zebrugge no prob, just make sure you go with the lorries on the lower deck. There is on lane for cars for that. They know what they are doing.. Not sure my V12 will go on now though.

Just ask for a 'low load' - they'll then put you on the lorry deck, and no grounding problems!

Took my vantage over to Jersey earlier this year (og I wished i knew beforehand that the max speed is 40!!) on Condor Ferries no problem getting on and off but on the way back as sea was choppy they tied all of the cars down. Only when I got back home I found all of the scuff marks on the front bumper where the ties made contact.

It did buff out but worth checking next time before disembarking.
