Onto the classifieds I go as usual, V8V Roadsters, Price Hi-Lo...
And what do I find? The top 6 cars are all manuals. Made me feel all warm inside that there are still people out there who like to shift gears themselves....
I think you could draw exactly the opposite conclusion - that everybody wants to sell their manual cars. And what do I find? The top 6 cars are all manuals. Made me feel all warm inside that there are still people out there who like to shift gears themselves....

My thoughts too. Then I look closely at the mileages, and they are so low as to smell of dealer ex-demos.
Which means now that they are selling so well that even the demo cars are being put on the market.
Which means they could indeed be more popular than the autos.
Which means my original hypothesis was somewhat imperfect.
Which means I haven't got a clue what I'm on about

Think I'd rather have sportshift.
+1 My recent 12 day & 3.8k mile trip round the alps confirmed that to me.I used to be a manual man but the ASM in manual is a lot better.
Looking forward to getting on the a Vantage S next year as the 7 speeder is another step on with lower transmission loses and no creep mode!
