Hi guys and girls. I'm at the ferry on my way to Le Mans. How do I go about disabling the tilt sensor on my alarm. Dont have the book. Thanks for a speedy reply!

You can disable the movement and tilt sensors with the button on the end of the fascia facing the drivers door. Enjoy France.

Yup, just read the manual.

The alarm disable button is visible on my DB9 with the driver door fully open - picture of a car with alarm waves in it.

Good Luck smile

That was was quick thanks. Does it matter when it gets pressed?

What is the little hole thing next to it for that connects to a pipe on the door? I've often wondered but can only assume it's the air con.

Not sure George.

Don't worry, though sMurph is minesweeping the forum so he should be here in a mo.

No doubt he will suggest it is somewhere for DB9 drivers to store their pipes, blah, blah smile

With the vehicle key in position 0 or 1 or within 60 seconds of removing the key, the reduced guard switch can be activated.

The switch will show red when reduced guard is active.

Reduced guard remains on until key is inserted in the ignition to position 2.

The above is paraphrased from the Manual smile
