Hi Guys and gels,
Can I ask a favour please, we are after more real feedback - opinions - problems/issues - reviews and images on your own Aston Martin experiences(any Gaydon era car) for future use in the guide.

We have just started a small low key Facebook page to accommodate these, pleased feel free to post a couple of lines, a full blown review on your own Aston Martin experience or just a photo of your pride and joy: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Aston-Martin-Review/... any input appreciated.

Can't abide Facebook, ttter or any of the other "facilities" that seem to be some sort of bizarre by-product of the mental health act.

If you have alternative ways of garnering feedback, bring them on. Otherwise good luck in appealing to people under 10yrs old and/or who have too much time on their hands and no real life friends smile

PS I love my V8V. It's a great car. One of the best looking cars made. And one of the best sounding. It's also been very reliable and good value to run.

PPS In ttter speak, I believe that's : @ston is gr8.

Both are indeed Forums, but there the similarity ends.

I think when you discover one of your daughters is being groomed by a pervert you may wish to alter your view.

I'm sure. But who's to say that such things don't go on on this website? It's not all Aston's. There's sections for modded cars and chav mobiles too and everyone knows what usually adourns the front of those typres of magazines. Any site where you can sign up without having to give a definate 'yes I really am that person' can be corrupted. I could be the King of Spain for all you know. Your username is Jockman but for all I know you could be a Martini drinking toff who went to Eton. I'm sure you're notsmile The point is, no social site (this one included) has the transparency to be fully safe. Now where's the 'like' button....

You don't have to do the personal posting, friends "thingy" (I don't!)- but there are lots of business pages including cars that are worth the occasional peek.

Astons own facebook page is interesting (now and again!), it shows what the rest of the world thinks to A.M's ...
http://www.facebook.com/astonmartin

Rick is on there: http://www.facebook.com/derbymotorservices

Anyway whether you like it or not it's just a medium that allows you post comments and images we can use - so get in there wink

Like it!

Aston FB page is pretty good actually. Gives you access to the latests videos and pictures. That's how most people heard the Zagato start up!

Point noted.

The problem I have with the prognosis is that PH is not a 'facebook' for cars, it is a 'forum' for cars.

Just like GoStatic is a forum for those who love their caravans.

Facebook and ttter are generic gossip forums that have no underlying educational value, unlike the two aforementioned forums.

That essentially is my problem with them.

And even though you disagree with me, I would not have the audacity to label you as a hypocrite smile
