I don't know if anyone else has had poor service at any aston martin dealerships. I put my beloved DBS in for it first MOT check and 140 inspection prior to warranty extension. It also needed an ongoing problem with the SAT Nav sorting. Upon drop off i explained to them to treat it like a baby etc and they assured me they treat it like a new car as they do with all their cars. I pointed out a couple scuff scuff marks which they said they would sort and agin i emphasised do not make them worse ie ne careful with any buffers. They also informed me that they would put a new clutch in due to a munfacturer defect on the original. So far so good! A week later i pick it up to find a cracked headlamp, scuff mark slightly improved but they used wet and dry so now i have a dam ripple in that area of the paintwork and finally sat nav still turning blue! The clutch is fine though. I raised the issue with the headlamp but i only spotted it once i took vehicle of premises but did return back in 10 mins. Not sure where i stand with any of this and totally peeved off esecially with the door ripple which is down to excessive lacquer being removed. Can i take legal action?

Post up a picture of the offending area so that we can see it.

Wwill put a couple of pics up. I'm going to speak to dealer on Tuesday. I don't think they will so anything on the ripple but the light is so obvious damage anything other a new replacement won't do. I'm wondering if a detailer would be able to sort the ripple out by rubbing down the whole lacquer to the same depth?

If they're a main dealer, I really don't think you're going to have any issues getting this stuff done.

They possibly sub-contracted the work out hence the poor quality control. The headlight is unforgivable - but accidents happen and they'll sort it.

I was sold my car without the service being done, it was due 3 weeks after I bought it. They contacted me, collected it, serviced it, cleaned it very well (been reading the other thread!) and delivered it back to me. No complaints.
