Thanks for all the replies to my ''Aston Dealer Kent/Sussex' thread... all really useful BUT I've now realised Lancaster's are my closest and easiest to get to hence the more direct approach here! So.... does anyone have any thoughts, anecdotes or glowing praise as I'm intending to drop over that way sometime this week.

Thanks in advance.

I havent purchased from them but I did speak to them at length before buying (and since) and I found them to be very honest and helpful.

The reason I didn't buy from them is simply down to them not having the right vehicle at the right time. They did take details of my requirements and they did call me back when a couple of suitable cars became available. By which time I'd found my car elsewhere.

We had a perfectly pleasant experience buying our V8V back in 2006 from Lancaster.
Can't comment on them these days really though, but one of the guys did ring me the other day just to see how we were (who am I kidding, I guess he was sniffing for a sale!)

I found them very helpful when looking, but ultimately they couldnt source a car for me.

I was looking at the lower end of the marque and the only car they had available was a very tired looking DB9 that was pre tart up. Having seen it in this state I couldnt fall in loev with it.

Bought eleswhere, and have found them very helpful since when I have had questions.

I purchased my DB9 from Sevenoaks. They were very helpful, let me drive a few cars (unlike another AM dealer on the South Coast who would not let me have a test drive), and waited for the right car to come into stock, i.e. they did n't just try to flog what they had sitting on the forecourt.

They're also a lot more open-minded than most AM dealers I've encountered about manual DB9's, which is refreshing.

All in all, I'd definately buy from them again.

still go to Harwoods for servicing though
