Any thoughts on the Aston dealers around this area? There's not a huge choice and they'll all a similar distance from me in Mid Sussex. I'm planning on looking at a pre-owned V8 Vantage next week... be nice to know a little about the local options!

Thanks in advance.

They do have quite a stocklist! Only one V8V, nice but I'm not a huge fan of the red interior... seems popular though.

The oldest Aston dealer worldwide - HWM are fantastic on sales. Make you feel very special. Ask for Paul the sales director. Never has someone taken me for so much money off me in such an enjoyable way!

These chaps have a very nice set up http://www.runnymedemotorcompany.com/

Lovely day in the countryside and some very interesting cars there! Almost had a DB7 from them back in the day...

The indies looks like great places but I'm really thinking of a main dealer with the full pre-owned Aston approved package, not that I've got anything against a non dealer for servicing but for my first AM I'd prefer that peace of mind.

So does anyone have experience with Lancaster's of Sevenoaks? They seem to be my closest official AM dealer.

I bought my DBS from Lancaster Sevenoaks in December and have been very happy with their service.

Harwood's in Chichester are a lovely bunch of guys. They don't have a large amount of stock, but a regular turnover of cars, so worth talking to them and leaving your number with them.

Another vote here (Bryan was the chap who mugged me biggrin).

Servicing's been fine there too. Work always done diligently. Always fine looking at the stuff I ask them to check. Never any aggro with the warranty stuff. Downsides? Not the cheapest.

I purchased my DB9 from Sevenoaks, used them once for servicing, and have used Harwoods in Chichester ever since.

Found Harwoods in Chichester very negative and unhelpful when I approached them about bubbling paint/warranty claim.

They told me I'd chipped the paint and it was not covered even before they'd looked at the car and continued to argue even when they'd photographed the bubble.

They're 10 miles from me.

Derby Motor Services is 160 miles.

Guess where I go.

Any particular reason? I only ask as I've figured they're my closest dealer, ( albeit by 5 miles! ), however it's an easier trip cross country to Sevenoaks for me as opposed to fighting my way down the M25!
