Wow Tim.

Fantastic to see one being used on our roads.

Did you get to chat to the owner?

Sounds fantastic, but the looks don't really do it for me. It's a little too much for my taste, great spot though. biggrin

Looks BIG. I prefer the colour of the blue V8V parked behind it too smile
(when I actually get round to posting photos you'll see why!)

Good spot. There were quite a lot of Astons around that part of London!

So is there only one of these in the UK? Looks great, but not worth £1m in my book.

What were you using to film it, if a camera phone I want one!

There may well be more UK cars, but it's the only RHD one. I've had that confirmed from AM and the owner as well.

The worrying thing is that after taxes it's actually £1.8m - quite a scary amount of money when you think what else you can buy for that. I can tell you that the owner is in the rich list, right up at the top wink so I don't think he has problems with it though!

I'm afraid to say it was being filmed on a proper Sony HD camera setup rather than a mobile phone!

£1.8m?!

Are there any other production cars that cost more than that, that are currently on sale? Makes a Veyron look affordable.

Also does anyone know if there is a One-77 Roadster planned? Would love to see that.

The others up there are things like the Bugatti Veyron SS (£2m), Koenigsegg Agera R (£1.5m) and Pagani Zonda Cinque (£1.5m), even the Veyron Grand Sport is £1.5m. You could buy a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento too for £2m but that couldn't go anywhere other than the track, the Reventon was £1m when released a couple of years ago.

No plans at all for a Roadster yet.

Mental price for a car that has some neat styling features, but doesn't hang together as a whole. And it's way too big for the space it provides.

Sounded great though. Bet it sounds extremely good at full chat.

Everything seems to have gone up in price hehe I thought a Veyron Grand Sport was about £1.2m, and a Zonda Cinque about £1m.

I was under the impression the One-77 was supposed to be about 1.2m

the one in Gaydon was still up there on Tuesday, and had different wheels, but could have been swapped over.

That is awesome, but i'm not sure it's £1.8M awesome! (You can have a serious collection of other machines for that sort of money) - although i guess if you can afford the One-77, you probably have a serious selection of other machines anyway!

Definitely would if money was no object!

Very nice spot indeed!

Sold by Stratstone by the looks of the reg plate. A tidy little commission for one of the salesmen there I'd bet!

£1.8m! Makes the X-75 Jaguar @ £700k seem cheap

Does the owner make steel per chance or just own most of Westminster?
