Hi all, one very happy new owner here, had the car for 4 months now and used the PH AM forum to help me through the purchasing maze; you guys certainly know your stuff and the information helped me to make the right choice.

What did I buy, a 2009 (59) AM V8V in Quantum Silver, Manual, Sports Pack, etc. etc. Why an V8V, well after 23 years of Porsche ownership, last car was a 996 GT3 Mk2 that I collected from the factory and owned for 6 years, I decided that it was time to buy the car of my dreams and boy has it lived up to those dreams. Only done 2k miles so far but each one of those miles has made me feel really special and privileged, feelings that I never thought a car would bring.

What next, more miles, more posts on the forum so I can get the low down on what is good and what is not so good, what events are on locally and nationally and more information on servicing (who to go to and how much to pay). I will stay within the dealership until the factory warranty expires and then take the car to DMS for a run out sometime to check out their legendary service.

Btw, do they do an AM night at the Ace Café?

Cheers, Keith.

Welcome Keith and congrats on your fine acquisition.

I dont know which part of London you are based in, but you have probably seen we have the odd (sometimes very odd meet)in the S East, which you would be very welcome at.

It is usually flagged here. If you want me to add you to my email list PM me.

Hi Di, would love to come along to one of the meets in the south; I live just north of Watford near Hemel Hempstead. Will pm you when I work out how to do that.

Cheers, Keith.

So I guess you take the odd blast along the A41 from the M25 to Aylesbury? Love that road
