Rebuilding AM Vantage Seats

A mate has a Vantage V8 Roadster and despite the fore and aft/height/lumbar adjustment etc on the seats, ends up getting out after an hour or so with a bad back. He doesn't get this in his other cars! Does anyone know of somewhere he could go to get the drivers seat rebuilt to his own shape, but using the original materials to keep the car looking as it currently does?

A decent trimmer will be able to do this for your friend, you don't state where your friend is, but I can recomend somebody in Sunderland who remade a set of F40 seats for similar reasons.

Andrew. Thanks for the reply. He is in the West Midlands but travels widely so the important thing is getting the right result rather than where it is done.

I seem to remember this being an issue on one that Autocar's MD ran a few years ago (no the later conv that was run a year or so ago). I'm sure they came up with a solution.....not much help but I can't remember what it was.

pretty sure the AM seats are done by protrim so I would recommend asking them?

appears they have rebranded, I've seen plane seats done by them in the flesh and they are top notch
