Got my V8V registered for this event near Nottingham next Sunday. Anyone here also going or have any previous experience of this show?

I think most Astons that are out next Sunday will be at the AMOC Concours at Althorp House.

Do you need to be an AMOC member to attend the Althorp House event?

At the Concours this time last year there were 489 Aston Martins.

My (step) grandson's christening is on Sunday....1 Aston going.

They did name him after me (No, he's not called Jockman), so I'm looking forward to it.

Shame to miss the AMOC though. They had a One-77 there last year smile

They were going for a world record, but not sure if they did it smile

They did, although not sure what. Most Astons in one place at the same time perhaps (apart from those unsold in the car park at Gaydon).

I need to do some Googling, 500 AMs in one place has to be worth seeing; even with the Bonhams auction the day before at Newport Pagnell; but that will only manage a measly 100 or so!

The '7 Astons' was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek as I realised that there would be a fair few more at the AMOC event wink. Am in York anyway this weekend so Newby Hall is just round the corner, otherwise would have loved to have seen 500 Astons in one venue...

Last year was a special one for the AMOC so there won't be that many cars there this year.

No Astons with us at this show but Sporting Bears Dream Rides are going to offer in alphabetical order - Bentley Supersports, Jaguar XK Convertable, Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Maserati GT Spyder, Subaru Impreza, TVR Cerbera, Ultima GTR - all you have to do is attend the Luxury Motor Show, choose the car, make the donation and we do the rest for 10miles so if you fancy checking out what we do pop across and chat to us.
