New V12 Zagato at Concour Villa D´Este
Discussion
There is an official announcement on the aston site and info all over the web so that bit's hardly a rumour, however nothing concrete other than it will be a Zagato Aston collaboration
There is a reasonable assumption based on the way Zagato normally work, that it will be based on an existing car, hence a reasonable assumption it will be based on the existing V12 Aston engine. Given the profile in the teaser shot, it seems reasonable again to assume it's based on the V12 vantage and not the 2+2 DB9/S/Virage
Given that the V12 Vantage only comes with a manual gearbox and it seems unlikely this car would use the auto (touchtronic) box of the DBS (even more so if they are racing this car), with no experience of using the sportshift with a V12, the next assumption is that this will use a manual gearbox
As all Zagatos are limited in number, the common consensus is 100 or 150 cars, but again this is an assumption
Despite thousands of comments on the web, I have only seen two mentioning price, one being £250k and the other being your quote of 400k euros
So the reality is despite all the assumptions above, some being mine and some being others', we actually know nothing concrete whatsoever and are unilkely to until the 21st May, when all will be revealed.............
BTW I so hope you are wrong with your price info.............as that would unfortunately rule me out !
