I like that, though I thought the 3/4 plates had the same font as the std plates to keep them legal? That font looks different to me?

Does your smaller plate still use the original mounting holes?

The little dragon, gets a nice response over in France compared to the cold shoulder of the GB or George crosssmilesmile

Picked up on it, during my bike touring days... Always display a Saltire, or a Welsh Dragon...... And never a GB signnono
Told your wife you dropped the Dragon, eh?

Of course not, that's why your fingers are still able to type smash

That's a very good reason to have one then smile

I always prefer numberplates with nothing there though, as you have changed to smile

Looks a lot nicer with the smaller plate but would have looked even better mounted using double side tape rather than the plastic bolts ( IMHO ).

Most of the reactions have been broad grins, not quite sure if they think I'm being cheeky or advertising my sexuality.

My wife was outraged when I bought it and is not happy driving it.

I was banned from the car park at work for a while until the union pointed out to the boss that it was lawful, however Gay colleagues say it's amusing.

Had it for a few years and regularly see fellow motorists taking photo's or giving the 'thumbs up'.

Generally, it just makes driving more of an occasion.

That does look good, got one for my DB9 then found the original bolt holes were almost the width of a full sized plate apart.

So have standard one on for now, will work towards one that's the minumum length to cover the bolt holes and quite a bit shorter in height. The more exposed grille the better!

My experience of number plates and the police is your better of without one at all than an incorrect one. Works fine with the Caterham and I just keep the plate in the boot (Just fell off sir) but of course the problem with the AM is there will be holes showing

I've had a small plate on a Harley for ten years without ever getting a tug. The feds dont seem to bother with Harleys as they dont go quick enough to speed anyway laugh Put a plate like my Harley plate on a sports bike though, and it wont be long before you received a tug i bet. Also had a 1950's type sticky plate right under the front of my old Jag xkss, no chance of seeing it unless you laid on the ground, but never had any probs with the feds or the MOT man.
