I didn't do anything with the Aston but I did modify the garage doors to reduce the squeaky bum factor when entering or exiting
I have a similar issue. About 10mm clearance on the near side of the car as I squeeze through the door opening. However, to prevent touching the wall, I’ve installed a stainless steel ‘guide rail’ on the floor. I just nudge the tyre against the rail and I know that I then have decent clearance. You can just see it in this photo…
Loving the obligatory planks of wood that we all seem to acummulate over the years.

And as you pile more and more wood up against the wall to make your garage even narrower you just move the rail further over However, to prevent touching the wall, I’ve installed a stainless steel ‘guide rail’ on the floor. I went too in the DBX. Lovely Lagonda parked up there.
A good turnout, I thought. I’d not seen one before, though I understand only about 7 were made. I always think of the ‘wedge’ shaped one with the digital dashes when I think of Lagondas of that sort of era.
The beginning of an epic trip.
We have just loaded 2 astons V8 Vantage s and and a Vantage f1.and 2 R8"s into the transport to Melbourne and then we ferry them across the Bass Strait to Tasmania to do some scenic driving around what is known as "The Apple Isle" and apparently has the cleanest air in the world, no doubt a bit dirtier when we leave some 1500kl later.

That sounds like a blast! I had a quick trip to Tasi once and what I saw was the stuff that begged for a return, hasn`t happened yet though. It came across as a wound-back Oz, with so much great scenery, bush, coastline, nice roads, great food, Cascade brewery, and very chilled. I look forward to your photos!

Me too, or the very old ones. Don’t realise these 70s ones existed especially in 4 door format. I’d not seen one before, though I understand only about 7 were made. I always think of the ‘wedge’ shaped one with the digital dashes when I think of Lagondas of that sort of era.
After getting some inspiration from a post on the FB Aston DIY group I fitted a wider accelerator pedal cover to assist with heel & toe action.
Got a pedal cover set for a Merc off the bay (£10), removed the existing cover (2 x T20's), removed some rubber off the back of the new cover, drilled a couple of holes for the bolts and fitted.
Gone from a 60mm gap to 45mm and everything is reversible if needed - Original pedal structure not changed and original pedal retained in my parts box.

The bump pattern matches nicely.Got a pedal cover set for a Merc off the bay (£10), removed the existing cover (2 x T20's), removed some rubber off the back of the new cover, drilled a couple of holes for the bolts and fitted.

As an aside, I find the accelerator pedal spring in my V8V a little too light and doesn't support my foot well, especially in light load conditions. As you've been messing around down there, do you think it would be easy to swap out and would the Merc one give a higher pedal load?
