Aston Martin alternative parts

Hi all,

I have an AM Vantage V8 2008 with a tear in the driver's side door seal. The OEM ones cost a ridiculous 545 GBP. Any suggestions please on alternative seals, please?

Is it the door seal that goes all the way around or the outer one that goes from the window and along the bottom of the sill. If it is the latter they are only about £100-150.But I agree the main seal is a ridiculous price. Best bet might be Aston Martin bits for a used one, or even Ebay. Sorry! Steve

I was wondering if a standard rubber door/window seal could be modified and fitted in.
