I bet the driving reviews will be quite good as I was almost surprised by how positive the DBS 770 reviews were, all said it was greater than the sum of it's parts and all the tweaking really added up. I'd say this will be a step on from the db11 in driving.
I like the front actually, interior is better than before without a doubt. Just hope the new "aston martin created" electronics are more reliable than Mclaren's home grown electronics... I do agree there are some serious Porsche vibes to the center, but oh well, not complaining as it's a mile ahead of the Db11/Vantage.
Still haven't seen a weight figure given. Wonder if it is heavier than db11 v8
There is quite a lot of configurability with the interior. Interesting they ditched B&O for Bowers / wilkins on the high end audio option. Also interesting they dropped the buttons for gear selection.

A current gen Vantage owner I like most of it.
On the chassis and suspension front a tad surprised by the e diff appearing, which tighten the experience up, but I suspect it is just taken from the Vantage imo (tbc). They say recalibrated the gearbox, is the ZF8 now including connection to the GPS to pre select downshifts?
I dont like the steering wheel controls, which if they are the ones I think they are many reviewers hated only less than the 2 bar version. It seems to fly in the face of the other sensible decisions for having buttons below the infotainment as well.
But yes a good improvement, I will mourn the loss of the clamshell bonnet mind. Although I know why it has been eliminated and it is less about cost of manufacturer (although part of the equation), but tolerances and profiling on them are a pain.

As I had mentioned in the deleted thread, it seems like the center console is too wide and bulky, and the screen is too small.
I too am disappointed at the lack of change to the rear. The rest really does look like the current DBS, which is good except that it means it doesn't seem that different either.

Not at all sold on the front, and while anything would be an improvement on the current interior (in reality the let down was the centre console and stuck on screen) I can’t say I’m blown away. It seems to have McLaren-esque sports seats which while probably just an option may be a bit much in what’s still supposed to be a Grand - sorry ‘super’ Tourer?
The journalists are so FoS, the way they rubbish the older car when something newer comes along, maybe they should revisit what they previously wrote and moderate a little better if they want to retain any form of credibility.

Interior looks rather Porsche/Audi to me.
This was precisely my reaction to seeing the interior teaser pics a little while ago. Great to see real buttons - but I'm not sure how practical it will be to use in real life.As with all post-VH Astons to my eye, I think both the interior and exterior are going to be hugely colour-sensitive. Lower front end looks odd on the white car; looks better on darker exterior colours

All the media release stuff uses the "Performance Seat" in their pictures. The regular "Sports Plus Seat" might prove to be more squishy.![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/GkBZaFmA.jpg)
