That’s funny, PH mods appear to have deleted the month-old DB12 thread on the day of the launch of the revised car. Must have been the copies of the french magazine road test that someone posted in the thread. Likely PH have received a stern phone call from someone representing Gaydon…
Seems a bit pointless really, the internet will be awash with photos and opinion on the facelifted DB11 within a few hours.

I have page 7 saved, if anyone wants to refer back.
Posting that would get me in trouble. -
Does anyone know, are we to watch on YouTube AM channel at 7pm, or will the launch not be online ?
AM issued their sequence of teasers, to raise the level excitement, but don't appear to have given any information about the launch ceremony.
Don't expect LS will be providing special oratory this evening. Probably hosting his private sponsors, at the Hotel de Paris in Monaco.
Remember, must pretend that we know nothing.
Wonder what the name of the, 'all new car with some carry-over at the rear', will be. ?

According to AM´s twitter account, it will be revealed at 11:01 PM BST (so it will be the DB 11.1? )
Thank you.
That is ridiculous.
They are clearly once again aiming their new car at 'new younger customers', who have a spare £250,000 and who also stay up to dance the night away, into the wee small hours.
Oh well, that is me out then. Nurse wants me in bed before 11:01pm BST.
Wonder if she might be there first ?

Some interesting bits in there like the e-diff now being used. If true that will bring it much closer to the Vantage. so for the avoidance of doubt the pics posted of the magazine review very late last night of the naughty european mag who broke the embargo are the reason the mods deleted the whole thread?
So was it because the Mag broke the embargo and mods got worried AM take legal action against PH or was it because posting a copy of pages from a magazine is a breach of their copyright and the mods got worried the mag may take legal action?
But if that was the case then surely just delete the offending post not the whole thread...

I think because the discussion following the posted photos related quite specifically to certain design elements consequently was a factor in having the whole thread deleted. So was it because the Mag broke the embargo and mods got worried AM take legal action against PH or was it because posting a copy of pages from a magazine is a breach of their copyright and the mods got worried the mag may take legal action?

I was most intrigued by the statement from a senior staff engineer that the V12 would be reappearing in other models from 2024. With no internal engine building capability, that would suggest that one of the regular partners (Ricardo or perhaps more likely Cosworth?) have agreed to manufacture (and breath on) the AE31 for the hotter version of the DB12, be it named Vanquish or DBS.
If true, that would be fantastic news.
