Had a great day today too. Took the Missus out for the first time!!! Went to see benno and upstaged his baby's christening!!! The public reaction is amazing!! I've had blokes hanging their heads out of Golf's and kids trying desperetly to read the badge on the back to see what kind of TVR it is

The computer on the dash is brilliant it has about five different screens and tells you everything from oil temp to speed in KMH...

Great car and the best TVR I have owned to date.
One thing I have noticed is that everyone says it looks better in the flesh than in print.

Glad you all like my watch

Yeah benno,

your just pissed because your porker doesn't have a diffuser to stop it taking off

plus the Tamora stole the show at the christening today!!!! More people wanted to see my new plastic baby than your real human one

The dustbin thing was funny though mate...

I've had the buzzer up a couple of times now and its flies above 6000 rpm!!! It feels quicker than my old cerbera for some reason... It's definitley more nimble and chuckable.

As for my watch, it's a Tag Heuer Chronometer nice and cheap in Dubai!!!

You should see benno's watch it makes mine look like a Mickey Mouse special!!!

We need to have a meet up somewhere, what TVR club regions are meeting next weekend????

Marki

do you have anything constructive to say or are you just into personal insults. Have you got the guts to put up a picture of yourself (perhaps standing next to that TR7 of yours) so we can all take the p*ss?

My watch really isn't that big or expensive it's just the suns reflection in it. I'm not a dwarf I'm 6"2. Comments on the car please, I already know that I'm a fat ugly b*stard and I don't need you to tell me!!

if you rank a 430 Wedge alongside a TR7 then you probably have never driven a Wedge

It is funny but everyone (and I know a lot of TVR owners through the club) who didn't like it has completely changed their opinion on seeing the car in the flesh. I include myself in this as I didn't like the car when I first saw a picture of it. However, now I own one I think it's the best TVR I have ever driven, and before I get some twatty reaction I have owned a Wedge, Griffith, Cerbera and driven almost every car TVR has ever built. If you don't like it Alex that is fair enough. You do, however leave yourself open to attack for being jealous when you put comments like that. Have you driven one? I doubt it. Have you actually seen one in the flesh?

I felt the same Alex....until I saw one in the flesh and drove one. Now I love it.

Maybe if you gave it a chance it would grow on you, we should be congratulating TVR on building a car like this, not slagging them off....

You have a point Marki. I adored the Griff and still do. For me it is the all-time great TVR. But, times change and driving the Tamora makes you realise how much. Me and friend were blatting along a country lane on Sunday and he said to me " My God! Your Griffith used to be all over the place along this road, but this car is handling like an Imprezza rally car compared to the Griff!!!"

It is so different to any other TVR you just can't beleive it. Try one if you can and I think you will start to see it in a different light.

I am in Nottingham on Friday. However, I only get a 1/2 hour lunch from the office on a Friday as I finish at 4pm and I would get tremendous grief if I stayed out any longer. It's pretty hard to sneak back into our car park in bright yellow TVR!!!!

We are planning a Sunday drive to the Cotswolds for lunch with the local TVRCC, with a Cerb owning couple who are staying with us and possibly another couple in a limited edition Griff and I have asked Andy (GB1360) if he fancies it too!! Can you imagine what a stir THREE Tamora's would cause?
