Today's the day!!
Discussion
I'm sitting at work, unable to think straight, butterflies in the stomach, grinning stupidly. Yep, today I pick up my Tamora. It's a beautiful, cold frosty sunny morning here in the People's Republic of South Yorkshire...Just the day for a top down winter jaunt. Bloody hell, I wish it was lunchtime!! How are you feeling, flasher?

GOT IT!!!!!! It's bloody fantastic!! I'm in love with a piece of machinery. It looks just gorgeous, the interior is perfect, the noise is a race-engine machine noise, there's no rattles, no loose trim. The dials work perfectly, I just need to get my driving postion right (the steering column is telescopic, as well as rake adjustable.) I might have the pedal box moved a bit, there's bags of room for legs, loads of seat adjustment. The ally knobs etc. just look the business!
I haven't had chance to suss out the instrument readout yet, so I'll be esconsed in my garage tonight with the handbook. Bit of a bummer having to return to work, but it's sat outside waiting for me. The turning circle is not too bad, better than the Chimaera, but it's no taxi!! The little lights front and rear look wicked, and it's way better to look at in the fleash. No photo does justice to the shape. GET ONE. JUST GET ONE!!!!

Another gorgeous sunny day, but a bit frosty. I'm at work (again!!), but at 11 o'clock, I'm outta here and then some more miles are going on that clock, more piccies etc.
I'm sure now that the gods smile on TVR's - when I got my Chimaera, there was a run of hot sunny days, full roof down action that went on for weeks. That was in July, mind you, and this weather in February is just a huge bonus on top of getting my car.
Flasher, all the best for today. Get that roof down!!

Where's the meeting tomorrow, Andrew? I might venture down there, if I can persuade my girlfriend that it won't be a load of petrolheads talking TVR (well, a little white lie doesn't hurt, does it?!)

Macca, me old fruit! I'll zip and mail the best snaps I've got so far. I'd love some A2 sized prints, if 2Mb files, or thereabouts, are sufficient. I'm not setting my digital camera to it's highest setting, because each photo becomes an 18Mb file!! I may even come down in person. What are you up to on Friday?
Hi, Andrew - I find that the display needs to "warm up", when starting from cold, and takes 5-10 minutes to become clearer, although you can see the it from cold. I have noticed the 3 change lights flash when the display is blank, and switching off and on again resets it. I can't remember offhand what I've got the contrast and brightness set on, for lights off, but I think it's about 50 contrast and 60 brightness. Try that.
Hmmm, any excuse to sit in the car!! I've had a look and the brightness is set to 100%, and contrast seems fine between 30-40%, with lights off. Wait until you've been out driving to set them.
