18-inch Anthracite Alloys
Discussion
All,
Has anyone upgraded their wheels recently? I'm thinking of going from 18-inch Silver's to the 18-inch Anthracite alloys.
Where/How is the best/cheapest place to get this done? Is it to simply stick it into the dealers and give them a grand?
Plus would the dealer take the existing wheels off my hands or would I have to sell them privately?

Thanks, you're right.
I just spotted this thread:

Sounds like Dookie had the same thing done. Dookie are you still on here? What colour did you specify to get it looking like the TVR anthracite alloys?
Cheers,
Jim

Has anyone ever tried this lot for wheel refurbishment and/or powder coating?

They're quoting £55/wheel to repair & powder paint the wheel in anthracite.
I need someone in the North West really. Anyone any experiences?

Be careful JimmyT, dunno if you remember my posts on this from a couple of months back but the place I was going to go to only offered an anthracite "fairly close to the TVR one". You really want to see one of the wheels before comitting to it I think.
I decieded to buy a new set of anthracite wheels and sell the old ones (cleaned up).

Hi Neil,
Thanks for the warning - I could faintly remember you saying something like that but couldn't find the post.

I got my done by Spit and Polish. Fantastic job. You won't be disappointed.
