Hi All,

Just thought I would reintroduce myself. I have been a PS member for about 4 years, but I haven't really been on PS for the last 3 years due to the fact of lacking an important part of driving, namely a license.

Before losing my license I had had a Chimaera 450 (Giallo Fly) and an early Tuscan (Reflex Spice), purchased back in the days of Team Central, West Midlands.

Actually got my license back March '03 but due to extremely high insurance, decided to go for a Lotus Elise as my first car back, which was fine at the time. I sold the Lotus last autumn as it was my only transport and driving to work equates to approximately 650 miles per week, ouch!

I'm now in a boring 318 Beamer and constantly think back of the good times in the TVR's especially the big off grin on my face!

I don't know what is is exactly about TVR's that I love, I didn't even mind the times I had broken down with everyone laughing as they drove past, must be some sort of drug thing going on.

Fortunately due to the explosion in the housing market over the last 5-6 years, I have decided to downsize my property which I love, in order to satisfy my lust for a TVR.

GF is not too happy about it, but I told her "don't make this an ultimatum, you won't like the result"

Not sure which car to get, I like the idea of a Halycon Midas Tamora, which would bring back memories of driving around in the Chimp on the Costa del Sol with the roof down.

Or perhaps a T350T or C which would be more akin to the Tuscan?

In any case I can't wait to get back to being satisfied!

Later...

Welcome back!

Sounds like a great idea, particularly as we have a Halcyon Midas (pearl) Tamora! One year later and definitely no regrets!

I hope you get your wish soon....

Thanks Julian,

There are a couple of Tamoras on AutoTrader at the moment which I keep my eye on.

Hopefully in the next 2 months I will be back!

We have one in that colour on order as well! Definately a good colour choice and a fine if not rare car!
