I have now put my doubts about the Speed Six engine behind me. I want either a Tamora or Tuscan. When did the facelift take place and was anything other than exterior appearance changed? Are 18"s better than 16"s - why?

Facelift was around Oct '02 but you will find cars with 53 or even 03 plates that were dealer stock cars.

The facelift cars also have the T350 refinements - better seats and sightly different doors giving more elbow room.

Go for the Tamora! I tried the Tuscan and I think the Tamora was more my style. I race karts and the Tamora was defiantely almost indentical handling! I did not like the Tuscan and to be honest I (and I know I am in a minority here) dont really like the front. That said, because its a TVR I still would smile and get very happy if I saw one or was around one!

There seems to be a lot of 03 cars that are pre-face lift. The dealers must have had them sat in the show room before registering them. A car made after oct 02 is a really 03 model.

Using 18" wheels you will need a football pitch to turn around in.

I would go for the 18" wheels, as they look so much better imho and that's all I can say as I have never driven a tamora.

here some pics:
