... at the weekend, very tasty indeed. I was cruising with the top down as well (not my Griff, a Mothercare pushchair, so you might not have seen me)

That was me. I'd just picked it up that morning from HL Gorner in Wigan. My girlfriend and I have bought the car together.

First impressions are great - it goes brilliantly and I've been fortunate enough to drive some decent cars in my time. This tops any of the others by some margin.

I had a fab day on Saturday. To be honest, I just cruised around getting used to the car as I think it deserves a fair bit of respect before we grab it by the scruff of the neck. It's very quick and I love it. The build quality is pretty good too.

It's hard work over speed bumps and it does get hot in the cabin, but you can forgive it anything once you get to the open road.

The only problem is getting back off my girlfriend...

Well well well fame at last, my boyfriend driving through Didsbury on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
I was gutted not to be the car that day but bridesmaid duties called. Saying that I haven't been out of the driving seat since!

Our new TVR Tamora....what a car....what a beauty....what a beast.

See you around.

...Our new pushchair... what a beauty..... what a beast... seriously though, what a fantastic colour for a Tamora - looked absolutely beautiful in bright sunshine. Bet it turned a few heads driving past the pubs as well. Made my day seeing it, what with a Griff tucked up all last w/end 'cos of the kids. ENJOY

Welcome!

Is your car red with a black interior? Used to be Gorners demonstrator? If so I've driven your car a couple of times, it's lovely. I liked it so much that I was considering selling the Tuscan to replace it with a Tamora.

Enjoy it!

Thanks very much folks.

Yes, it is the ex-demo HL Gorner car. Me and the good lady are both very happy with it and it's great to see that it's already been spotted by people from the site. I've used PH loads of times during the build up to buying the car, and it's good to see the same people have noticed us out and about.

Gorners have been good too - don't know what your experiences have been with them, but so far they've been top.

One gripe about the ownership experience so far though - the weather has been generally rubbish since we bought it. We drove with the roof down yesterday and got soaked. I hope the Lamonta interior can cope with a bit of damp. The car has at least proved itself to be watertight...

Same here, can't say enough good things about them.

Erm, I guess now is a good time to confess that the same happened to me in that car! It wasn't soaked by any stretch of the imagination but there was a 'feck, I need to get the roof on sharpish' moment. Thankfully no lasting damage, just some injured pride!

Anyway, hope to see you at a meet sometime soon. Have you thought about coming to Bolton Abbey in June?
