Hi guys and girls. I'm a new boy on this forum and thought I'd ask your advice on T350C buying since you seem like a bunch of nice, honest, tell it like it is kinda people. I've just sold a Griff 500 and moved to a new house with no garage or driveway. Bad move I know but the missus had decided we were having the house and that was that. You know what its like! Anyway my question is this. Should I buy a T350C even though it would have to live on the street? I'm worried about damage to bodywork with frost, water leaks in rain, that sort of stuff. Basically I don't want to buy the car and ruin it because I can't garage it. What do you reckon? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi Smiff,

Before I moved to a house with a garage last December, my Chim was always on the drive (no garage), and it did leak slightly if it rained heavily (but than again so did all 3 of my brand new MGf/TFs!) I bought the Leven Tech hood cover, which kept the Chim very dry, but if mine were on the road, I have to admit, I'm not sure, I would probably get a full car cover. The area you live in also must play a part in your decision, if it's an OK area, you should be fine.
I would find a way of making a driveway than give up on my TVR though!

Chris

The T350c only has one main potential leak point that is easily remedied. So from a practical point of view it should be fine.

The only question is it's safty from scrotes on the street...
