Picked up my new Chameleon Orange baby yesterday and took her out for a spin with my mate's new Gallardo to set the pace.

Ended up on the motorway and caused havoc at near maximum speeds. Emotions just get in the way of legal practicalities and believe me, the Chameleon did all TVR's proud by being glued to the Gallardo all the way.

Whilst having a play, came across a famous Max Power Nissan 300ZX who decided he wanted to play with the bull and the bulldog. However, all his 600 horses were chewed up, spat out and left for dust. Respect!!

Nice, very nice I can imagine that being quite a sight. Are those TVR wheels? (orange is the best colour for TVRs isn't it )

You want to save your speeding for the track before you kill some body, be responsible and dont drive like a twat. Will you be happy when you have KILLED a child?

Your as bad or maybe even worse than drunken drivers.

The problem is if i got on hear and said i drove home drunk you would all say i was a prat and quite rightly so. Get on hear and brag about speeding and

NOTHING SAID. Obviously pistonheaders condone speeders..

DO YOU WANT TVR TO HAVE A BAD NAME ?

Yes best colour in chameleon orange and the wheels are after market ones which my dealership have started using.

In response to Mark's comments, the last time I checked, children weren't allowed to walk across motorways at any time let alone at 1.00am when the road was near enough empty.

TVR's are for fun and pleasure and not for boring twats who choose to criticise other TVR drivers for going over the speed limit.

I don't condone drunk drivers or people who drive dangerously. However, there is a big difference between a dangerous driver and a skilled driver.

On a final point, I think this topic does everything other than to give TVR a bad name. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

The wheels are identical measurements to the original spider's fitted with the same tyres. I had the option to go for those or the spiders when I bought the car - obviously I chose those.

The car is from the TVR Centre in Barnet, but I don't know how much the wheels are alone so you can probably contact them directly for a quote.

OOH er .. that is one hell of a colour. I am looking for a Tamora (saw yours Nick but missed it) and thought orange a bit lairy, but hey, its not a quiet, shy, retiring car anyway. There is one advertised but it's in Scotland.

Trust you had the speed camera detector fired up - speaking as one who got 5 points for 68 mph at 2.30am on a deserted M11 in a temporary 40 mph roadworks section.

Always got the Road Angel on alert as was stopped in my Cerbera 3 years ago doing 130mph on the M25 at 5.00am on a deserted stretch. Luckily escaped with 6 points and a fine - don't ask how!!

As for the running in, all sorted by TVR as the car is a few months old and now ready to stretch her legs.

I think I saw this car at the Ace Cafe meeting in February with those wheels.

Good to see a TVR with different style wheels. Just wish they would make a deep dish spider then I'd be happy!

Great looking car Nick!

Did TVR run the car in for you and if not then why did the previous owner sell so soon?

The car was an ex-demo and was run in perfectly by my dealership, i've noticed the demo's seem to go alot better there so opted to go for that one plus avoid the hussle of the running in period with the niggles to go with it.. But the main reason for buying the car was the spectacular chameleon paint and the special wheels which give the car real presence...

VMAX sounds good.. few friends raced there before so will have to get some feedback from them... and Alan yes the Tivs sure can surprise alot of supercars costing over three times the price.. my Gallardo friend is still stunned thinking he was going to vanish after a Ton.. I've advised him to go for the power upgrade...
