OK,
My chim has gone, and I pick up a lovely Grigio Titanium Metallic Tamora tomorrow!! Have to admit though, that seeing the amount for the bankers' Draft, it does seem an awful lot of money for a car, please convince me I'll enjoy it as much as the Chim!!
I think I have got a fairly good deal, the car is on 02 plates, air con, 18" spiders, tracker, full aluminium pack, charcoal Bison hide, and is an ex TVR show car, 9.7K on the clock, just serviced, for £27,950, does this seem like a good deal?
I have seen the Tam and she is spotless inside and out, I just am missing my Chim at the moment (TVRless for 2 days now)
Oh yes,, I just had £30 cashback on my insurance policy because I changed from a Chim 450 to to the 350BHP Tamora!!!!

seems a resonable price Chris, yes.

I paid 29 for mine about 6 months ago - similar spec.

You will love it - I guarantee it.

cheers guys,
Picked it up from Westover Sportscars in Poole, so have a very long drive in it to get back home in Gloucestershire!
It certainly drives and handles a LOT better than the Chim, and the extra power is more noticable than I first thought.
The last time I had that much fun in a car was with my original MGF Trophy 160 (don't laugh!!), it was so 'chuckable', but,, the Tamora has 200BHP more, and it's still chuckable and easy to control! Will take a while to get used to the pedal layout though! I have noticed that sometimes,, the LCD disply does not come on when the ignition is turned on,, but repeating the process seems to cure it,, is this common?
As I bought the car 'semi-private', do you think it would be a good idea to get the car checked over? I ask because I can hear the tappets slightly, (but not sure if that's normal for a S6 engine), and also the brakes do not feel as good as I hoped, I am thinking of having both the tappets and brakes checked out at a local TVR dealer (County TVR) The car had a service at 6K, it's now done 10K (after many miles yesterday!)Would it be wise to have the 12K service now, for peace of mind?
It has a tracker fitted,, but made no difference to my premium,, is it worth subscribing to the tracker service? (not exactly in a high crime area and the car's in a locked garage!)
Overall, very happy, although sports seats are a LOT harder than the Chim!! lol

Hi

When I test drove the Tamora I was surprised that the brakes lacked initial bite, you have to give them a good push and you can hear the tappets on SP6 as well.
I've drove 3 different Tamora's and they were all the same regarding the brakes, some engines were quieter than others though. I'm sure every thing is fine with your car.
