Hi, new on the board, have been looking at T350's over the past few weeks and its been good to read everyones contributions on here.

Am now waiting for a colour combo that i want to come up on the used market and i can consider.

One thing i have noticed some cars seem to have different steering wheels? There is a better (chunky) one with a yellow symbol and there is a not so good one with no markings.
Is this a cost option on a new purchase?

Only other question is advice on the used market - I am looking to buy a 2003 model from a dealer. Currently the only sources i use are autotrader www, the pistonheads classifieds and the TVR dealer sites themselves.......are there any other places i can look?!

Thanks

mjc

I've just finished doing the same thing - most of the dealers seem to advertise thier cars in autotrader (TopMarques) anyway, so you've pretty much got them covered as far as I know...

havent noticed the difference in the steering wheel I'm afraid.. they have made a few updates to the model since it was launched though, so perhaps it was changed during one of those updates..?

The other members on here are MUCH mor knowlegable than me though, so I'm sure they will be able to help!

Good luck with your searching!!

The one with the yellow logo is made by an italian firm called Personal.

TVR use their steering wheels across the range in fact. First I have heard of different wheels...

They all look pretty much like standard TVR Personal wheels to me...

nope, but as far as I can tell, the "better" ones with the yellow ones seem to be on the more recent models, so I'm guessing they are the standard now...?

Could be the case....can't always tell the reg on the pics you come across.

The ones with the yellow symbol look better and have a more padded "9 to 3" section

How much was the blonde sheepskin option?

Can I get one retro-fitted?

I've heard they're a very expensive option, the price tends to vary considerably as they are unique, also comes with a rev limiter as standard fitment...

I suppose it'd be expensive because of the twin airbags.
