As title, is the battery in the same place as the Chim, or somewhere else?

Cheers,

Chris, (soon to be Tamora owner)

Couldn't they come up with somewhere more imaginative (absurd!)???

Does that mean there's just as much passenger legroom in a Tam as the Griff?

Just got an insurance quote from privilige for the Tamora (chim 450 was £740, with a max milage of 3K per year)
With no claims protection, 8K a year milage, my fiancee as a named driver, legal protection and curtursy car and just £200 excess,,, guess what,,,,,,,,,, £670!!!!!!!, £70 cheaper than my Chim!!! How odd!

5'9" Blonde and Griff. Makes life "a challenge" from time to time.

Ho hum - the next car will have to be a Tuscan after all!

Hey - good news on the insurance! What do they (or their computer system) think it is? A Toyota?

Battery is behind nearside front wheel. You have to take the wheel off, and remove a panel in the wheel arch, which is secured by two bolts.
Excellent choice, had a Tamora for just over 12 months, a fantastic car, carn't understand why they don't get the credit they deserve. You will not stop grinning

Thanks for that Nigel , There are connection points somewhere around the car for jump started I believe?
I always wanted a Tamora over a Tuscan (Fiancee took a bit of convincing though!), it just 'looks' like it will be more fun to drive than the Tusc, (I could be totally wrong of course), due to the seemingly lower and broader stance, coupled with the fact that it's quite a bit shorter than it's big brother.
Will miss my uber reliable Chim though, but it's going to a very good home.

Congrats on the purchase - you'll love it.

There's the usual TVR jump start / recharge plug just behind the front LH wheel, yes.

Been out in mine tonight with the roof off...still grinning - got puilled yetserday and fined for "illegal plates" though - fooking rozzers with nothing better to do.

cheers
