There has already been a redesign on the Targa Panel. I have the origianl design and would agree that it can be noisy. However after a few adjustments I have fixed that. I don't know how the new design fairs but it does look sensible with the seals on the roof rather than on the panel.

It's not a serious noise issue over 70 mph. Every T seems to be slighlty different in that respect. There's been loads of previous posts on this very topic with views on cause and solutions. With the panels off there is very little buffetting and surprisingly little noise - no more than that in other open tops.
As for the looks, well it's personal and in the eye of the beholder really. Personally I don't like the Tuscan's looks so wouldn't buy one - but I'd leave my views at that.
The redesign is already shipping but it still doesn't appear to resolve the issue of noise at certain speeds.
Nick The T is a fine choice, but be prepared to fettle the panels a little to achieve TVR Targa Nirvana!

The reason I have the T rather than the C, ('cos I agree that the C does look better), is rather simple. I used to have a Chim and had the misfortune of being collected by a 44 tonne artic which decided it wanted my lane on the M4. Now if you have ever been shoved sideways on a motorway at 50mph then thought of "full cage" passes through your mind. Anyway, 2 years into Cerbera ownership and along comes the T350T. Full cage and darn near open top motoring. That was me sold right there and then, I like the Chim, Griff, Tamora and Tuscan, but the only choice for me is the T350T.

The fixing for new and old style panels is quite different the new panel sits in rather than on the roof.
The panels on mine were fine until the first time I removed them, after that I got some wind noise as described else where and creaking. To fix it I adjusted all of the fixing points in turn on each panel, I drove a short distance to see what it sounded like between each adjustment. I used the the local dual carriageway because there is a layby every mile or so and being a dual carriageway no problem attaining the correct speed.
It took a good while and I imagine anybody who might have been watching would have thought I was a nutter but hey, who cares.
As it turned out the panels were being clamped too tight to the roof and I think were distorting which accounts for the marks in the paint and the creaking. I had to loosen the rear clamp rather a lot and adjust the front clamp so that the rubber compresses but not enough for the panel to bear directly onto the roof.
I really don't drive too quickly on the road so provided it's quiet at 80 I am happy. If I am on the track then the roof will be off anyway.

P.S. Below is a note from another thread where the wind noise on a new style panel has been fixed.
Just before I took the lairy T350t in for it's first service I thought I'd play around with the pods to eliminate the whistling.
Pushed them as far forward as I could and tried to match the pod "bulge" with the roof apertures from the inside.
Result ... not a single whistle and problem free conversation at 100mph+
I've got the Mark II roof with the B&Q rear brackets, which I'm going to modify with a spring between the washers, so it at least looks a little bit professional!
Oh, and this car's an sbsolute hoot! Great fun to drive and I never have to wait to pull out into busy traffic ... someone always lets me in! The fun of TVR ownership!

Well, not much chance of a retro-fit then, seeing as the whole thing is different. But I see they've got substancially bigger seals on the apperture which might be something.
Looks like a neater job - you even have upholstery on the ceiling, mine is totally carbon fibre. Something the factory is going to be having a look at after my next phone call to them.
Looking at the way they are fixed, the seating of the panels doesn't seem very positive i.e. at least the old one had prefab clips and moulded indentations where the brackets sat. Seems to me that on the new design it would be very easy for the panels to move around. Doesn't seem particularly well thought out
