Oil pressure readings

What sort of oil presure should i be looking for when test driving a T350, i drove a very nice car at the weekend but the max pressure i saw was 45-when the owner revved it.
It was idling at around 8-10......

Mine is much the same when idling but only when the oil is hot (80+). What is the engine idling at (rpm)?

Just to make it harder, different sender units will give different reading - before I had the sender changed it sat at 15+ at the same temperature!

When hot, I get about 8 to 12, when given a bit, 45 to 50 I think.

When warming up, I have the dash set to show oil temp in the zoomed bit, but then once warm I switch to the multiple bar view.

When driving, the Oil pressure sits on or near the very top. Can't remember what idle shows.

I think the idle was around 8/900ish. I had thought 45 psi at high revs was low?

No 45-50psi is about right at highish revs and 8-12 on tickover when hot.
