notchy gears when hot

started noticing recently gearbox feels bit more notchy when up to temp, clutch was only changed a few hundred miles ago so cant be that, not sure if im being paranoid or anyone else had this?

I have this in mine at the moment, clutch only a year old. It's going in for an MOT shortly so I'll get my mechanic to take a look at the same time.

would be interested to know if he finds anything? when i spoke to garage who did my clutch he said it didnt sound like a usual kind of problem?

I had this a couple of weeks back and it was the clutch. Will it engage fine when car is stationery? Does it get worse the hotter it gets?

all gears engage but just a bit stiffer when hot , will be v surprised if its the clutch having done 200 miles since being changed!

Probably just some adjustment needed to ensure the clutch is fully operating.

Happened to mine too earlier this year. The clutch went and difficulty getting gears after clutch change - all very notchy and sticking in gear (couldn't move gearstick from gear to neutral without turning off engine).

It turned out to be the flywheel was well and truly knackered.
New flywheel fitted by TVR Power, car now drives 100%

Clutch out (again) and a few hundred quid for the flywheel.
At a guess, £500 - £600 job IF thats whats wrong.

surely a faulty flywheel would have been noted on the clutch change no?

I had this - bled the clutch - all is well. Suggest try that first before reaching for the wallet!

thanks for input but cant help but think fluids were changed and flywheel checked when clutch went in but im no expert so dont know? noticed even with engine off gears dont want to engage very well unless pedal is depressed. some what annoying having spent over a 1k only a little while ago that there is problems again aagghh!
