My T350 is a bit of a bugger when it comes to the old sticking seatbelt trick. I'd been told to park on level ground, but even then it's only 50/50 whether I can move the belt, and when parked on my street (with a bit of a downhill camber towards the kerb), the belts will just not budge at all. That is, until I came home a different route the other day and parked facing the other way, with the driver's door next to the kerb. When I came to drive away next time, the seatbelts were as loose as a goose! What is it with these TVR belts that make them completely jam up if you're parked one way and not another? It's crazy!

Edited to say: I realise this is only a fix when parked outside my own house! Anyone fitted harnesses to a T350? I've got a set of Willans up in the attic. Sure they limit your movement in the car, but my seatbelts lock me in place anyway, and at least with harnesses I would never be driving around with no belt on at all. Anyone done it?

My belts do the same thing, the other day i parked the car on a leaf in the gutter, and behold that worked for me! Only joking
I think we all better park out side your house from now on!!

Glad someone else raised this.

My 10 minute journey last night to Sainsburys includes a dozen speed-humps, a variety of cambers and all the usual lumps and bumps you would expect of London, NONE of which did anything that would release the 'effin belt.

I'd be pleased with 50/50 sucess.

It p*sses me off lots and madam is far less tolerant than I am.

Has anybody tried to retro-fit a different inertia belt?
