Wing/Side Mirrors?

I have had my T350 for two weeks now.

After it nearly killing me the other night what with the lights and engine failing on a dark unlit road, I have come to one conclusion.

I love it!

Apart from one small detail.

The wing/side mirrors.

They simply do not fit the style of the car, they are bulky unsightly things and I want to rip them off the car and replace them with something much more pleasing to the eye, and much more suited to the car.

Has anyone changed their wing/side mirrors for something different? Or know where I could get something that would fit nicely?

How about some lightweight carbon fibre affairs?

Funny this should come up, I was thinking exactly the same thing about the mirrors on my Cerbera, which I believe are the same.

Having spent several weeks sadly examining door mirrors I've come up with a variety of possibles:

1. Original shape Audi TT
2. MX5 - the model after the pop up headlight one but before the current shape
3. (Don't laugh) - Daewoo / Chrysler Matiz - the nice thing is that they are quite small.

New FIAT punto and Fiesta mirrors are also a possibilty, though I'm not convinced witht he shape / size.

I suspect that the MX5 ones will be best, however, I've yet to actually get my hands on one to see how it would fit. Have a look and keep us posted on how you get on.

I have had a look at the mirrors you have listed and it looks like the MX5 ones are the top contender so far.

Will have to get a cheap one from somewhere to test fitment.
