Just been down to John Noble Motorsport for a power graph on their rolling road. I met Shane Fearns of SFR Engineering, and had a nice chat about speed Six upgrades, suspension, brakes etc. Whilst I was there, 5 engines arrived from Noble Cars for final tuning and fettling, and there were two new Nobles in the workshop - so you know where to go for tuning a Noble!!

Anyway, my Tamora is producing 338bhp@6400rpm, and 278lbs. ft. of torque at 6300rpm. Not bad, and only 3.4% less than TVR quote.

Was that expensive?

I'd be quite interested in seeing how much mine is producing.

Was that at the wheels?

No, it's a computerised extrapolation of the power at the wheels - I couldn't tell accurately, but one readout showed 270bhp, which was probably the power at the wheels.

Grief
John Noble used to tune my Chevette HSR.
Glad to see his still in the performance car game.
The run to stockport back from chesterfield with the twin 48 DCOE s on full song was always good.
Will now have to try it in the griff

John no longer has an active role in the business, which is a shame cos he's a genuinely likeable and knowledgable fellow .. always enjoy a chat to the old bugger!

the business is now run by business partner peter dibble.

John sometimes drops in for a chat and to *keep an eye on things*

we wish John well in his (semi) retirement
