It's a shame that TVR aren't more consistent about the upgrades available. It makes resale much more complex when trying to explain to someone what exactly has been fitted
Is it 3.6 or 4.0 litre, 350, 360, 375, 380, 390, 400 or 440bhp (all variants which have been touted)?
It certainly has the potential for a very confusing used market.

The engine mods plus sports exhaust (without de-cat) is £2500+VAT.
I wouls have the brake package as well -makes more sense.
Mines having the red rose at the moment with the brake upgrade, however theres a parts shortage,so its stuck at the factory for another 4-6 weeks, also the car will need running in again

Had a look at your car today Rob when I picked mine up.
Suprisingly little body damage, I was well surprised.
Your new chassis is pretty much complete.
They have told me the same today but they can't do much more until they get the engine back 3-4 weeks. Most of the impact was taken on the front wheel.
Any improvement on the T panels Neil.

Sadly there's not much that can be done with the old design roof so I'm stuck with the wind noise at the moment. Heath confirmed that they are still getting wind noise with the new design too. Its something they are still trying to find a fix for....
They've done a cracking job on my doors though - wind noise down to a whisper now, even in the 80s and 90s.
Exhaust boom/resonance is still there. Heath reckons its basically because there is no flexible section on the exhaust construction. Don't know enought about it to know if that's right (Jools, are you reading?). I'd really love to get this sorted but not sure where to go now?
They've finally sorted the knocking on my suspension - sweet.
Got replacement gaiters for the gearstick and handbrake. The old ones, made of ambla, had cracked and split.
Pretty much replaced all the components in the instruments to get to the bottom of the geiger counter style ticking that comes from them. Still there though, very bizarre one.
Tuned up and booked in for the paint work in June.
Thumbs up to Heath and Ray at the factory - top blokes!

Can you chaps check something for me....
with the panels on, drive to the point when the wind noise starts then open the drivers door window about an inch... does that stop the wind noise?
If yours does that as mine does, I have a theory that it's not the leading edge that causes the wind noise but the edges and seals alog the sides of the panels.
The reasoning here is that opening the window disturbs the airflow over the side seals just enough to prevent the excessive noise. This would also explain the lack of too much buffeting with the panels off.
On the downside it also means that mods to the cover the leading edge of the panels may not work....

I get a similar effect on the V8S, which is caused by the side windows being sucked out slightly at high speed due to the low pressure on the outside. If I drop one of the windows half an inch the pressure equalises and the noise stops. I suspect this is what is happening in your case too.
The noise on mine also stops if I physically pull the window frame inwards, which I think shows that it is the sideways movement of the window which is causing the noise. Presumably if there was a wind deflector on the windscreen pillar the window movement wouldn't cause the noise?
