Impressive eh...less than a week after deciding 'the Audi is history' I have test driven a number of TVRs and bought my own....had the test drives scheduled for Sat but couldn't wait that long so did it on Friday and bought my own today!!!'

The poor guy & his wife turned up in it and left on a train back home (we dropped him at the station)!!

And I am the happy owner of a lovely deep red Tamora....and took it out for its first drive as its owner this afternoon...to Henley...

Wow do I have lots to learn but I am already enjoying driving it so much!!!!

Now I sit here knackered with a huge glass of wine...haven't slept properly all week waiting for today and I am bloody exhausted but happy as hell!!

Well done Anita! You will love it always!

Just remember to adhere to the warming up procedures for Speed 6 engines and check the oil and water regularly and she should look after you!

Again well done

Hiya! So what cerbie do you have? Boyfriend is thinking of changing to a Serbie....

How does the Serbie compare to the Tuscan?

Is it just me, or are Tamoras suddenly becoming very popular?

BTW - Anita, welcome to the somewhat exclusive club of Tamora owners!

Not likely to see one unless you're in the London/SE area - I think mine's the only one in Yorkshire!!

Nice choice!

Best advice I can give as from only sampling these machines from the passenger seat is give it some johnny large potatoes...

Yeah, I thought the same Mungo. Below 3-4K it sounds like a diesel but boy does it come on from there. Bit different to my Griff where it's all done by 5k.

We love it though. Looking forward to a good blast in it tomorrow. Handling and steering is sharp, have no doubt it is quicker point to point than mine or much else........other than your Supra R of course

Hiya Anita - welcome to TVR world.

Do you still have the mole and does your brother, Keith still put his hand up young fluffy chicks?

I didn’t get to drive it,, I just kept the new ad notification in my inbox, as the Tam looked great in that colour, and the price was great too!! We are going to trade in our Chim 450 for a Tam at some point, as it seems the most natural progression up the TVR ladder, (although we still LOVE the Chim coupled with the great 4.5 V8)
We will keep looking, I haven't drove one yet, but I'm sure it's great, and I don't want to drive one yet as I'll probably want one there and then, as is what happened with the Chim
