Chamelion blue

Does anyone know how many tamora's were made in chamelion blue? Someone said only 200 but not sure how true that was.

There were three that I am aware of. I have one & there was was another at Chatsworth last year and a third sold recently on PH.

Wow I did not know there was only a few produced. I brought mine back in October. Is there any way of finding out production numbers?

Theres been a few posts on production numbers but it gets in to a big pissing contest as nobody really knows the exact number. Just do a search for the threads.

I guess I am just interested as I have not seen many around. When I was first looking I wanted a chamelion green. Were the 3 way pearls an expensive factory option extra? Please excuse my lack of information lol

Had a look at the sales book for the Tamora (IIRC it was the same for all the T-cars) the list pirices ex VAT were as follows:

Cascade paint was £3k
Chameleon, Reflex & Spectraflair paints were £1.5K
Red glow Pearl was £1K
Std metalic & starmist paints were £500

I am sure there are only 3 Chameleon Blue Tamoras had mine for 5 years and only seen two others in all of that time sold it last year (May 2009), still miss the sound of it.

Whist the exterior colour is the same, the cars are still unique as the interiors are different. Mine is light dove grey with dark gret contrast panels in the doors and seat pads/backs. One I saw atChatsworth last year has navy contrast to the leather on the upper dash tops and had full hide trim. Not sure about the third.

I know, its been almost 13 years, let sleeping threads lie etc... I promise its relevant!

I've been lusting after a TVR since I was 8 years old. Now,14 years later, I recently became the latest owner of the Chameleon Blue Tamora that initiated this thread, once owned by both "Madmatt V8" and "SHIFTY".

From my research there appears to be 3 Chameleon Blue Tamora's. 1x 2002 car and 2x 2004 cars. Of those, two (both 2004 cars) have the matching "swordfish" interior. Happy to be corrected if that number is indeed more.

Although I have a full history file since 2004, if anyone else knows anything about my car (or the others sharing spec) any pictures, pointers or information would be greatly appreciated!
