due to my insurers being a PITA I am going to put off fitting my Nitrons to my Tamora for now.

Anyone want a new set for just under the usual price and with no wait?

Mail me. See www.nitron.com for info.

cheers

Yes..... I'll take two dozen dahilia tubers and a bag of 6X please!

Has anyone fitted Nitrons to a Tamora? If so, is there a lot of difference to the handling?

Doh.

I tried that approach but tescos insuisted they are up rated. Don;t you just love insurance companies....they asked me how much they cost, then worked out the premium based on replacement...I asked whetheer they would replace them in the event of a crash and they said..."yes, with the factory items".....so why base the prmium on the price of the dampers asked I..."I don;t know" came the reply.

fools..the lot of them.

I had the same argument with my insurer. Pointed out that the cost to replace factory versus Nitron is almost exactly the same. Got the right result in the end but it was hard work.

That's good to know, I'm about to fit Nitrons to my Chimaera and I'm with Classic Line.

I had the same argument with direct line. Pointed out that I had to replace the factory items because they were knackered and that Nitrons were cheaper.

In the end they did not load the policy. I asked them to note that the car had nitrons on it just in case I bin it and they choose to get stroppy.
