Who uses the Tamora for the drive to work?
Discussion
As some of you know, I've been lurking around this site for a while mainly due to the fact I'd like a Tamora.
Test drove one recently and am really smitten, but it would be used for the daily commute and various other boring activates, I'm concerned that it's going to over heat in traffic and generally not like the stop starting nature of driving in the UK. So my question is can you drive the Tamora like any other car and use it daily?
It's not the only car in the house hold btw
Any replies would be very much appreciated

Use mine (T350) every day. Normally involves 15-20 minutes of queueing in traffic - no problem.
I find the worst thing is trying to resist the temptation to nip down to the shop for some milk, as the short journey means that the car never gets up to temperature*.
Then again, if it won't be your only car you'll be fine......except that you won't use the other car ever again.
*unless you go via the 20 mile scenic route

I use my T350 as every day car - popping to the shop for milk always means that I have to drive it long enough to get it up to temperature.... shame
Thanks for the info Guys.
One other question for you,
The speed six suffered from a few problems when it first came out, I understand that TVR have sorted it now, but when was the issues with speed six sorted out. I'm looking to buy 02 plate Tamora. Wasn't it only on the early Tuscans and not the Tamora that had problems with rebuilds? Is this true?
Or would it be wise to get a warranty?

If wanted peace of mind you might also want to consider Henley's latest warranty extension that gives an extra years cover for around £1675 inclusive of the 12k service;
