Well I’ve now taken the plunge – toyed with choosing the Tuscan for a brief time but the charisma of the convertible Tamora won me over. Now the proud owner of Schfold’s beautifully prepared Tamora. If you read this Stuart – I know you’ll miss her but rest assured she’s gone to a loving home!

Picked it up Friday and after clocking up 500miles over the weekend I am now smitten. Awesome power and the kind of handling poise reminiscent of my old Elise, and that noise…… I can’t believe I was even contemplating a Boxster S. The beauty of the Tamora is it feels like a special occasion when you get behind the wheel.

Roll on the summer

lol - just looked at your website - feel a plonker offering you advice on watching the backend and putting the power down when the road is damp now!

Stuart, that is probably the best piece of advice you could have given, it's soo tempting to use the gas I've been thinking putting a big 'post it' note on the dash board just to remind me

Enjoy the Cayanne and just look forward to the time when you have that double garage and able to run both - what a combination !

Kieran - you weren't happy with the Tamora for long - 2 months (see it's in the PH classifieds)- what went wrong?

Jigs, it is with a sorry heart I can assure you. Unfortunately my garage, and bank balance, has only room for one serious toy and my heart now belongs to another. I've clocked up nearly 3000miles in the short time I have owned her and every one has been absolutely fantastic - without doubt one of the best cars I'll own.

Profit!!! an 03 Tamora fully specced at £28k!, you are joking - I'm just keen to pass her on to another enthusiast without profit. It is priced to sell quickly - someone is going to be very happy.

email at kieran.watts@virgin.net if anyone is interested

Kind regards.

I take it that although it's a '03 Tamora it's pre the facelift? What's the replacement going to be?

I think jigs was hoping that something had gone wrong with the car so you had to sell it. He could then use this as ammunition in his increasingly tiresome anti-TVR rants.

jigs: Until the last month or so I found you very amusing and have thought that other PHers should relax a bit and stop grumbling whenever you posted criticism of TVR. I actually thought many of your posts were fair and objective and offered a welcome alternative view on TVR. However, in recent times I have come to realise that in fact you are only interested in sniping at TVR and their owners for the sake of it - perhaps the tone of your posts have changed or I was just giving you the benefit of the doubt for too long? Either way, it is a great shame that you feel the need to behave in this manner.

Kieran, I also meant to point out that the, "You hoping to make a profit on it?" was jigs being sarcastic. I'm just glad to enjoyed the car and wish I had the cash to buy it - it looks lurvvvely.

Roadsweeper - you read too much into my questions - they are exactly what they 'say on the tin'!

Are you honestly telling me that the question about making a profit on a second-hand Tamora was an honest one? I know you're not that ignorant of TVR depreciation from new....

If I recall Kieran bought it for a very good price from Schford - so it's not impossible he could sell it now (2 months/3000 miles later) for a profit.

Great stuff chaps, keeps knocking me up to the top of the forum!

Thanks for the comments Roadsweeper, yes she does look stunning. That's another aspect of TVR ownership I will miss, for the most part, the refreshing goodwill and positive support of the owners in this forum.

Are you sure I can't interest you in a very loooong term repayment plan
