Anyone know how I can get the rear lights & side lights working? I've changed fuses, rear bulbs & even the rear number plate bulbs (someone told me this circuit earths through them)??!! I've had a brief 2 second flicker from them but that's all!

Somebody please help before I resort to copious amounts of alcohol!!

Are any of the rear lights working? I remember on the old Chimaera there was a single loom to the rear of the car which could become disconnected - perhaps you have a similar problem?

Front side lights don't work at all but main beam & headlights work fine. Right hand rear & side lights are on one fused circuit & left hand side & rear are on another.

Playing about with wiring looms seems complicated unless they're easy to get to?

Thanks for your help so far!

It could be the relay splice under the centre console. I recently had a similar problem ! Although mine was that the splice unit was missing biggrin
If one of the relays has gone though, then it may have the same effect to one side of your rear lights

Mmm, interesting. I did have the reversing light switch replaced because it kept blowing the fuse for the reversing lights & brake lights (same circuit).

The thing is, both rear & both side lights don't work under any circumstances but the main beam, headlights, indicators & brake lights all do!

I think I'm going be digging out the looms & looking for a poor connection at this rate!!

there's a similar thread on the Tuscan pages; I just posted this on there;

"There's nothing new" only subtle differences in TVR faults.

The rear lights on my Tamora aren't working; front sidelights and mains are fine but when I turn the switch on the rear fog light also illuminates (at least there is something red at the back).

I have also noticed that (sometimes) two yellow LEDs next to the fog light switch light up when the ignition is off.

My assumption is there's a dodgy earth somewhere but while i'm chasing that, is it worth trying a new switch unit?
