I use a Road Angel its fits into the little cubby hole under the hifi and the eye I just stick in the screen to the left of the mirror, you dont even see it when driving as its not in line of sight.

Road Angel not in place on this shot but you can see where it would go, the small cubby hole in frot of the gear stick and below the hifi.

I hope it helps. Do you like the colour scheme by the way?

Thanks for the photo! I love all the schemes which is why I let my other half choose the colour as I was too indecisive! Hence the Halcyon midas pearl for us! I know its not everyones choice but we like it and to be the honest the TVR centre has a t350 in there showroom in that colour and its stunning.

Do you have the standard pioneer head? Do you know the model number?

Its the standard head but the standard speakers are pants, you cant hear them over the fantastic sounds comming from the back of the car. I upgraded the speakers to a set of Focal Kevlar mids and tweeters with a Vibe amp in the boot, its OK now. You dont need any base really, I tried a small sub in the boot and its sounded great until I started the car then you cant hear it at all so go for punchy smaller speakers. I kept the standard head unit because its a soft top and no one is going to want to nick that basic thing. Good sound from CD, crap radio. I fitted the amp and speakers myself but to be honest its not worth the hastle. Power and earth have to go to the battery and that located in the front LHS weel arch, you have to take the wheel off to get to it! and the routing of the cables is a real pain in the arse.

I almost went for Midas myself actually, it was a toss up between that and cham. orange. But I saw a relex green Tam and it looked so go I went for that instead.

By the way you are going to love it, cant wait to see it.

I've got an Origin B2. Dealer fitted the cradle just above the stereo, basically by wedging the lower part of the hinged bracket through the dash.

If you're interested I'll take picture and post it on here.

Oh yes a picture would be superb. I am strongly urged to get the origin b2! Where did you put the sensors etc? I was wondering if it could go below the radio.

Couple of pictures, as promised.

Here from the side;

And here from the front with the unit removed. The red circle is where the GPS aerial is mounted - up near the windscreen in between the two air vents.

If you need any more detail let me know.

As far as the laser detector goes, its mounted on the back of the rear-view mirror but I think its pretty ineffective at that height (vertical distance above the level of the number plate is too great AFAIK).
