Had a test drive today in a Tamora with the TVR centre. Just ordered one! Can not stop grinning! We went for Halcyon Midas Pearl in the end with a nice and safe black and yellow full hide interior with yellow stitching. Getting the seat backs painted and also the diffuser. I could not believe the noise of the standard car, so no exhaust upgrade for now! Delivery due around last week of April but I want to delay it until mid May, if I can, or get a choice as I our garage is being rebuilt!

Having to have double bolsters made up for each side so we can see out though!

Hi maddog(uk),
great choice of colour for the Tamora.
Check out my profile to see what the colour looks like in the flesh on a T350c.

Excellent choice and sounds like a great colour combo. You'll definetely get a fair bit of attention this summer.

Diffuser to be painted is still a cost option!

I am thinking about yellow middle panels, but at the moment I specified black so if anyone has pictures of there interior with this colour I would love to see the design!

Painted Diffuser is NOT a cost option its standard on all new cars (from about Jan '03 I think) so don't let the dealer rip you off!

Well done though and you will have lots of fun....the wait begins.

Hi.. just checked TVR's website.. they charge 100 pounds plus vat for the diffuser to be colour coded.. good choice with the car and its nice to see a few more people opting for the Tamora which is difinitly underated but once driven will leave you very surprised as many of us have been before...

I stand corrected, it was free when I orderd my car so this is a new charge. I also had the rear light clusters and the black bits on the front spoiler painted body colour too, again FOC.

No, to my knowledge they re-invented the Halcyon Midas a year or so ago after discontinuing it...

And the new Halcyon Midas is the lambo orion pearl yellow that James Agger had got TVR to spray the TMS demo car.

Sorry to be contraversial but I actually like the black bits, especially the diffuers - and it's v easy to deal with bangs and scrapes with a matt black finish.

cheers

Mine is in a dark colour (Reflex Green) anyway so its not really an issue for me. I have iradicated all the black bits on my car and apart from a couple of stone chips on the front it looks great...but they all look great IMHO providing they have the 18" wheels (wait for the handling debate to start)

Is that Halcyon Midas 1, 2 or 3 When they changed the paint process to water based they stopped it as it was flaking like the back of the singing detective when a stone chipped it.

They alwasy re invent colours at TVR's and some names seem to stick

But sound advice is alwasy quote a paint code on the chassis number as some differ from others dramactically and with over 12,000 colours to choose from it needs to be right
