Hi,
I/we are thinking very hard about trading in our lovely Chim for a Tuscan or Tamora, although I am siding with the Tamora, as what I have read, it's more of a bargain and better to drive than a Tuscan, although the Tusc's looks are very intoxicating!!!!(however, I do enjoy driving a lot more than posing!)
As we own our Chim outright, we are looking for a Tamora aroung the 24-27K mark (have about 10K to put towards a Tam),, are the Tamoras really that good to drive?, and will I get a decent example for the figure I want to pay?, and will I miss the V8 burble????? or will that be replaced with another sense of stimuli??
Any advice on thse cars would be greatly appreciated

Yes, an early '02 plate with average mileage and bison interior - check PH classifieds...

Possibly, and definitely yes!

I tradede a Chimaera for a Tamora, and the upgrade in power, speed, handling is amazing. Do it!!

Hi.. yes you could probably find a decent example for around 28k.. wait until march 04 plate and maybe further reductions.. the Tam is simply the way forward for you now after the chim.. the Tam is simply the perfect replacement being a full convertible and with performance to rival and embarass cars worth double.. sounds nice too and can be further enhanced with a sports exhaust as well...

just go for it.
Everyone looks and knows its a TVR as it still has a unique sound. It also moves and handles well.

Cheers for the great words guys , I think it will be a Tamora, and, to be honest, I always preferred the Tam over the Tusc, as every review states what a great handling car it is,,, but,, my Fiancee preferred the looks of the Tuscan (as, tbqh do I),, but,,, I still love the way the Tam looks, and I'm sure I will enjoy the power and handling, (there seems to be a lot less overhanging bodywork front and back),, plus the roof comes off exactly as the Chims I really don't care about the stares from other drivers, as I LOVE to drive, preferably on an empty road with a few twisties, and definately NOT to show up other drivers on a whim (although I do give in at times to silly boy racer types!!)
My fiancee (soon to be wife, 25th June!!) has got me a Track day voucher for Valentines,,, so I would love to try out the Tamora on a track, rather than the Chim, especially as I will need to sell it or trade it in!
