Hi,

It's quite easy. Take out the ashtray and there's a butterfly nut. unscrew this..trying not to drop it. Then unscrew the gear knob and the handbrake lever. now lift up the centre console at the front then slide the whole thing back. It's a bit fiddly but you should now be able to take off the whole centre console. underneath you will see some electronic stuff and the rubber gearstick gator. there are 4 screws and some silicon sealant holding it on. Take this off and you should see the reverse light switch attached the the square housing and a linkage attached to the gearstick. Mess about with these until the ball bearing is engaged when reverse is selected then tighten the whole thing up...again a bit fiddly. Then put it all back together....which is lots of fun.
Enjoy
Paul

thanks Paul - I had assumed it was at the box end, so that's really helpful.
