I have finally found a tamora demo car in the South West at Pininsula.

I will be having a test drive next Thursday - so I will let you know how I get on.

We hope so, we have looked at all sorts of nice prestige cars and the problem is that is all they are "nice". None of them have really excited (unlike our test drive in a T350).

I must also say that Peninsula have been really helpful, Richard Mayoh has been excellent and has emailed me lots of pictures so that we can get an idea of colour.

I found the Tamora incredibly similar to the T350 to drive. To think that you usually pay *more* for the soft-top version of a car, the Tamora seems like a bargain, especially used. Are you buying new? I would like to see some more used ones, there don't seem to be that many around.

Yes we are thinking of new. I agree that there are very few used cars around and when you find one on a dealers website, you often call the dealer and find the car has gone.

Peninsula and TVR centre definately have used cars available.

Surely you'd get better value buying nearly new? There are plenty with only a few thousand miles, if not less. You'd save a packet - someone else suffers the depreciation ! ( depreciation is not a TVR thing - Porsches suffer terrible early depreciation too ! )

Well we have had our test drive and I must say I am really impressed.

We tried an 02 plate, with tuscan brakes and it pretty good. The only mistake we may have made, was asking for a test drive in a 53 plate Tuscan. I wasn't sure what I would think about a Tuscan but it did impress me even more than the Tam.

Anyway now we are left with a really tricky choice Tam v Tusc

I drove both before getting the Tam (more me I suppose).

I'ts all down to personal choice.

Enjoy either!

My choice would be Tam for the balanced drive. Others may prefer sheer muscle!
