As a new member to Pistonheads and a great admirer of TVR's (especially the Tamora), I would like to know if there are any female owners out there who are vertically challenged - I'm only 5ft 3ins. I currently own an Elise and have no problems whatsoever but with TVR's been more of a 'masculine' car I wondered if any provisions were made for the fairer sex? I am seriously interested in the Tamora and would appreciate any info from female owners of Tamora's. Cheers
Ruth

Thanks for the info Mrs Fish. Think I may go to the Chris Neil's open day and test drive one. Best start saving now, cause I think once I've tried one I will have to have one! Then I've got the most difficult part - what colour to have? Your T350c is a lovely colour - what is it?

It's Rosso Pearl, they have stopped using the paint now as it isn't solid enough, we are getting it resprayed this month in the replacement paint, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is called.

I would certainly get saving those pennies because you are correct

Hi tvrcat. I am 5'2 and have a Tamora - no problems at all. I have a 'seat insert' which cannot be noticed at all and the pedal box has been brought forward so I can reach the pedals easily.

Tam girl - Does your bum look big with that seat insert?

Mrs Fish - does that mean that you're 5'5"?

It was Red Glow Pearl, as stated in this thread -> www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=13&h=&t=76597

Which looks like this.

How's the Ka now? Still dented?

It's not just you ladies who have this problem....I'm only 5ft 3 myself, and my other half-cn_johnson is about the same height. If we do go ahead with a Tamora we'll make sure to get the seat inserts put in and the pedals adjusted. We once looked at getting a Grinnall Scorpion - one of those 3wheeled monsters - and that was good for us as it too had an adjustable pedal box. I've driven cars which I could see each corner of the car (Range Rover), and ones I couldn't (a Capri driven in my youth) - you just have to get used to it, and hope for the best

Surely 5ft 3ins isn't small for the female of the species, there are many smaller.

Isn't average height about 5ft 3in ish for women?
